1331 Events partners with Incisive Media to support Orbis Investments with the delivery of their inaugural client event

1331 Events were approached by Incisive Media to support with managing a breakfast seminar for Orbis Investments. This was the first large event Orbis had hosted themselves and they wanted it to be a great success.

The event needed to attract the right calibre of audience and pave the way for Orbis to host similar events in the future.

1331 took overall charge of the event and with the venue and date already confirmed, worked up a project plan with key deliverables to keep the team on track over the coming months of the event planning process.

Deliverables

Whilst the Incisive team took responsibility for the event website and the audience generation process, 1331 managed the logistics and the multiple suppliers involved in the event – ensuring everyone, including the keynote speaker, was fully briefed. Weekly catch-up calls with the client ensured everything stayed on track.

As the delegate numbers increased, 1331 worked with the Orbis team on the event content and on the look and feel for the event, branding the room with vinyl logos, hanging graphic frames, large canvases and simple floral and tablecloth décor to work with the Orbis colour palette.

Closer to the event, 1331 produced detailed run sheets for the conference and took care of printing all the event collateral, ensuring all materials matched Orbis’ brand guidelines and were ready to go. On the day, 1331 supervised the registration process and overall management of the event and the suppliers seamlessly.

Results

Delegate numbers exceeded the client’s expectations and Orbis were very happy with how smoothly the event transpired and the excellent feedback received from delegates on the event format, content, and the external speaker.

“The event was a success and it’s very encouraging to see the majority of survey participants indicate that they would attend another Orbis event.”
