The Maple Leaf Trust hires 1331 Events once again to deliver its glittering fundraising gala dinner
The Maple Leaf Ball is the main fundraising event for the Maple Leaf Trust and over the decades it has become the social highlight in the UK-Canadian calendar, providing the opportunity for Canadians from across the UK to come together to meet, celebrate, reminisce and fundraise for two fantastic charities.
After a year-long hiatus due to COVID-19, it was even more important to ensure the 2022 event was a success.
Whilst the Maple Leaf Trust focused on ticket sales and securing items for the raffle and auction, 1331 Events took the complex logistical planning of the event firmly in their stride, dealing with the many suppliers that are required to bring together an event of this scale at such an iconic venue.
Deliverables
Briefing and scripting the event MC, managing the production and lighting, the silent auction technology, the after-party DJ, catering and drinks suppliers, auctioneer, raffle tickets and payment machines and a team of 20 on-site volunteers was just a handful of the tasks that 1331 took on as part of their remit.

Results
The evening was a huge success once again, raising significant funds for the charities. With the smooth running of the event in safe hands with 1331, all the charity trustees were able to relax and enjoy the evening with their guests and alongside the other 350 attendees.
