Clearwater International breaks from tradition for its 2022 team event
1331 Events were engaged once again to orchestrate bringing together over 300 staff from all over Europe for Clearwater International’s rapidly growing annual team event. Traditionally, the event had always been held in a beachside location but in 2022 Clearwater were open to new ideas.
Would the gamble on a different location pay off?
After extensive research into European destinations which had luxury accommodation large enough to host the substantial group and also provided a wide selection of exciting activity options, good nightlife, and easy accessibility for all attendees, Montreux, Switzerland emerged as the ideal location for the event.
Deliverables
Whilst Clearwater handled flight arrangements, 1331 Events took on every other aspect of the event planning. They sourced unique dinner venues and challenging activity options such as canyoning, mountain hiking and a high ropes course. A team competition managed via an event app ran in the lead up and throughout the event. AV and production for the meeting element alongside DJs, entertainment and photographers and videographers were all sourced locally to reduce costs.

Results
With a record turnout for the activities whilst on-site, the setting of the 2022 event against the stunning backdrop of Lake Geneva and the Swiss Alps was a great success. The company were able to come together to celebrate successes, recognise key achievements, share ideas and collectively plan ahead for the future.
